Our story

Matthew and Mary have been dreaming and creating together for over a decade as “Ideas and Abilities." Their greatest accomplishments are their healthy, wildly creative, and kind boys, Oz and Emmet.

Matthew and Mary met during a "summer of love," embarking on a week-long adventure across central Oregon, attending music festivals, thrift shopping, and camping. They returned with the slogan “lock down,” which became a permanent tattoo symbolizing their soulful connection and commitment to unconditional love.

"Lock down" serves as a reminder that they’ve got this because they’ve got each other and can trust themselves and the unseen to co-create their destiny.

They consciously said goodbye to a lifestyle that disconnected them from their creative process and humanity due to substance and alcohol use. Embracing their fullest potential, they became examples of what’s possible for their boys and community.

On the brink of leaving for a cross-country trip to find a new home on the East Coast, Skyline Farms appeared like a dream come true. With its barn, vista, and proximity to family, it was the perfect next step. They seized the opportunity, committing fully to a new life closer to the land and creating opportunities for others to connect similarly.

Matthew, an Oregonian born and raised, was ready to elevate his skills as a builder, general contractor, and entrepreneur, fostering a deeper reverence for the land and community. He is also a paraglider and fisherman.

Mary, with over twenty years in the healing and holistic wellness field, has empowered women to remove alcohol from their lives. She is a priestess, ceremonialist, women’s circle facilitator, yoga practitioner, and embodiment DJ. She is thrilled to weave flower magic and medicine into her holistic wellness offerings and host dance parties among the flowers and under the moon.

Together, they bring their vision to life at Skyline Farms, where magic, connection, and community thrive.
